# Lesson 1 prose did not land

The learner read lesson 1 up to the quiz and said the text was not clear. The first draft led with metaphor (mailbox, letter, stamp, door) and stacked exceptions (file://, Firefox srcdoc, opaque) before the basic rule. Rewrote the lesson in ASD-STE100: one idea per sentence, words from `CONTEXT.md` only (WindowProxy, origin, postMessage, targetOrigin, event.origin). Lab now has numbered steps. Do not return to metaphor-first prose on this topic.
